Rachel & Wes, Twelve Oaks Bed & Breakfast Wedding

I photographed two weddings from the same family in one year, and feel like I know them so well. It’s been such a great experience getting to know Rachel and Wes through planning their intimate Twelve Oaks Bed & Breakfast wedding. They met in their neighborhood while walking their dogs (who made a special appearance). Rachel had texted her mom spilling the beans about how she met the cutest guy who was also a dog lover. “I’m totally marrying him and that’s that,” and her gut was right! They couldn’t imagine not having their fur babies with them, so Soul Flowers dressed all three of them for the occasion in floral wreaths. Rachel and Wes’ fall wedding was elegant thanks to their classic taste and magnificent planning by Chancey Charm Weddings. My favorites from their November wedding in Covington, GA below!

Twelve Oaks Bed & Breakfast has a ton of character and rooms with intricate detail. Rachel got ready for her wedding upstairs. The groomsmen got ready downstairs while watching the Clemson football game. Custom ties made of feathers were a really neat part of the groom's attire. The property had a lot of options for portraits to be taken. The back of the house had a great lawn area, while the front of the house had nice architectureWe still had plenty of lush greenery for their fall wedding in Georgia. It's always a good idea to dress your dogs up for the wedding day too! The couple decided to make floral wreaths for their dogs, and it's so precioussome other creative bride and groom portraitsThey had a beautiful and intimate ceremony on the back deck for their closest family and friendsMy favorite ceremony shot was of the groom high giving and shaking his friends' hands walking down the isleReception details really weren't needed in this quaint home. The groom had a Clemson cake, and they carried the florals over to their main cakeCocktail hour took place on the giant wrap around porchAs the night carried on, the guys huddled around a phone to watch the tail end of the football game. Nonstop dancing took place in the living roomThe couple's formal exit included guests throwing olive branch leaves as they walked down the stairs of the inn
