During my last trip home, I got to spend a couple of precious days with my 3-yr old nephew. To me, these images sum up who he is as a kid at this point in his life.
He’s sneaky. Sneaky in a smarty pants, funny kind of way. One thing I’ve learned about kids from this little dude is the best form of play is pretend. My dad can fall asleep in a blink of an eye though, so I’m sure 50% of the time he’s not really pretending..
He’s silly. I can hear the little giggles.. the overly dramatic giggles because everything is over the top hilarious. Who ever knew that playing footsie could be so much fun?
He’s imaginative. The kid LOVES dinosaurs. I mean, really loves dinosaurs. He’s extremely smart, and knows them all. Pronouncing these 5+ syllable dinosaur names is not a talent of mine, but he rattles them off like the ABC’s. This is him showing me how a dinosaur roars..
