I’ve become friends with this family, so every session is extra fun with them! I’ve been photographing the Beelers for 3 years now, and it’s been such a treat to watch them multiply! Baby Addison was an absolute angel, and we took some of my favorite newborn portraits to date! Mom and dad did a great job on her nursery, and I quickly fell in love with her West Elm rug, and knew I wanted to use as a backdrop for some images. I have a feeling that she is going to be the complete opposite of her big brother when it comes to taking pictures. A typical family session includes a lot of play time (& sometimes cookies). Who would have thought that part of my job is to act like a child, yet at the same time, it’s a very professional tactic. Sometimes the best compliments come from the little kids. As I was heading out the door, Davis said he wanted to do more pictures tomorrow – sounds like a smart kid to me! My favorites from Addison’s newborn session at home:
