When I think about this couple, I can’t help but smile. After only spending a short time with these guys. Their love for each other is so apparent, and there’s no doubt that their little baby boy is going to be spoiled with affection. They knew they wanted to shoot at Piedmont Park, and I found out later that it’s where the couple got engaged, which made the location extra special.
It didn’t dawn on us until days before, that the Publix Marathon & Half Marathon was the same morning as our session. Pounding my head against my desk, my heart dropped after looking at the race map.. literally running through the park. They decided to take their chances, and I’m so thrilled they did because I think every runner that would have been at the park that morning was running in the race! It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.. absolute perfection.
I can’t wait to see Alejandra&Derek as parents when I get to photograph their baby in June. Wishing you both the best of luck!
