I hate being away from my family. It’s tough to hear stories, see Facebook posts and Instagram photos of everyone having fun without me there to experience it with them. This is especially true when it comes to my 3-yr old dinosaur loving, curious, full of giggles nephew. I had some family withdrawals and decided to make a trip. Both of my sisters got a little wild and took off work. We decided to take Caleb on an epic “surprise adventure” to the New England Aquarium.
Besides playing, “This Little Fishy,” which is my version of “This Little Piggy” with gold fish (we got a little silly right before his day-of-fun crash nap), I think his favorite part of the day was not knowing where he was going. My favorite thing about kids is that they are 110% always themselves. Knowing that I was a part of one of Caleb’s firsts triggered all of my heart strings. This little guy is going to grow into something amazing. He kind of already is amazing..
The more you learn, the more places you will go.
You should.
These things are fun.
And fun is good.
There is no one alive who is youer than you.
Today was fun.
Tomorrow is another one.
