It was Elizabeth’s idea to get married at her parents’ house. As I pulled up for the first time, it was jaw dropping. It looked classy and charming from every angle, and so were Elizabeth and Andy. This couple really took in all of the moments throughout the day, including the first time they laid eyes on each other, their gorgeous ceremony, and heart felt speeches from their best friends.
Every time I drive by this house (in passing, not in a creepy way!), I take a trip down Memory Lane. Some of my favorite parts of a wedding day stem from the reception. A weight is lifted from built up nerves and stress, the bride and groom give themselves a big thumbs up for extensive months of wedding planning, and everyone is finally letting loose and having a good time. This is especially true when we have little kids tearing up dance floor. They were the bride’s niece and nephew, so they got a free pass for stealing some attention!
Thank you to the wonderful and talented Kathryn McCrary for having me second shoot for her this day.
