Halloween was not a little different for me this year. I traded my ‘A League of Their Own’ costume in to shoot along side of Laura Barnes. An emotional first look with a jaw dropping is one I’ll remember, and their color palette was one of my favorites I’ve seen all year. Because their wedding fell on Halloween, all guests (& photographers) got a chance to visit their ‘Sweet Shop.’ My favorite element from their foyer table was a typewriter made note that the groom wrote to his bride from his proposal — ” Today is the first day of the rest of our lives. I could not be more excited or more in love. Will you marry me? Yes, yes, YES.” In addition to the stunning couple, the groom’s nephew was a highlight for me this day. He loves to show his muscles and actually put his hand up and yelled at me to stop taking his picture. His spontaneity throughout the day kept me entertained for the night! I’m honored I got to witness this heartfelt fall Douglasville GA wedding.
