As Thanksgiving is right around the corner, it seemed appropriate to blog about this family because they remind me a little bit of mine, who I cannot wait to see in a matter of days. We are a joke cracking, don’t take everything too seriously, and aren’t afraid to say what’s on our mind kind of family.
Kate confessed to me early on that they haven’t taken professional pictures since their wedding. This is a no judgement zone, but we definitely had to make this happen. A common friend connected us, and I was immediately drawn to their family. Kate’s laugh is extremely contagious, and their personalities really livened up our session. I think all of my sessions are fun, but this one was really fun. We all worked really hard to get their son, Jonah, laughing and smiling. He’s a serious little guy, but flirted with me a little bit as we parted ways, so I think he liked me.
